Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These terms govern your use of ParentKit, operated by Multiordinal Limited. By using ParentKit, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. The service

ParentKit is an AI-powered coordination service for parents. It scans your connected email accounts for family-related events, extracts them using AI, and sends you reminders through Telegram or browser push notifications. It also provides task management, reusable checklists, and a personal knowledge store ("Brain").

3. Your account

You sign in using a magic link sent to your email address. There are no passwords.
You are responsible for maintaining access to your email account, as it is your means of authentication.
ParentKit is currently invitation-only during early access. You need an invitation to create an account.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.

4. Acceptable use

ParentKit is designed for personal family coordination. You agree not to:

Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the service.
Share your account access with others (each user should have their own account).
Use automated tools to access the service beyond the integrations we provide.

5. Your content

You own all the content you create in ParentKit – events, tasks, brain entries, notes, and any other data you store.

By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing ParentKit's features. This includes:

Sending your email content to AI services for event extraction.
Storing and displaying your events, tasks, and notes.
Sending you notifications and reminders.
Making shared content visible to users you choose to share with.

We do not claim any ownership over your content and we do not use it for advertising or AI training.

6. Third-party services

ParentKit integrates with third-party services including Google (Gmail, Gemini AI), Telegram, and SendGrid. Your use of these services through ParentKit is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep ParentKit running reliably, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. ParentKit is provided on a best-effort basis.

As an early-access service, features may be added, changed, or removed as we develop the product. We will try to communicate significant changes in advance.

8. Limitation of liability

ParentKit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Multiordinal Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. This includes, but is not limited to:

Missed reminders or incorrectly extracted events.
Data loss due to service interruptions.
Actions taken based on AI-generated information.

ParentKit is currently a free service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us, which is zero.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page. This permanently removes all your data.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if continued access would harm other users or the service.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before any suspension, unless the situation requires immediate action.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or via your connected messaging channel. Continued use of ParentKit after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
